The largest undergraduate higher education institution in the state of Kansas, Johnson County Community College educates nearly 23,000 students each year and employs over 2,350 faculty and staff on their 22 building campus in Overland Park. They offer 50 programs of study with nearly 150 degree and certificate options. In 2003 they were awarded the Kansas Excellence Award, the highest level of recognition for quality given by the Kansas Award for Excellence Foundation.
