The Kansas City Chiefs are a National Football League team that was founded in 1960 by Lamar Hunt. A member of the American Football Conference (AFC) West division, they hold only one national title, Super Bowl IV, when they defeated the Minnesota Vikings 23 to 7. They are headquartered and play out of Arrowhead Stadium, which was built in 1972, together with Kauffman Stadium, as part of the Truman Sports Complex.
